Poker Tilt

I may have to write an episode of Tilt after this historic run of poker. I literally cannot place in my best game which is $20 NL Sit and Gos on UB. I think I have lost 10 straight which is unheard of for me.

It is amazing. I almost would not believe the BS that was happening if I did not see it. I would go into the specific bad beats, but there are so many of them and it would bore anyone who read them anyways.

Poker is definately a game of swings and I am getting the worst of it and it sucks.

Vikings Money Line

I bet $10 on the Vikings Moneyline +270. My reasoning is that I want the Vikings to win and I want a little extra incentive to cheer. I did an analysis on the game and here is how I see it:

Vikings Strengths: High Powered Offense (Dante, Moss, Bennett)

Weaknesses: Defense is weak but improving
Morton Anderson is their kicker and he can't kick farther than 40 yards.

Eagles:

Strengths: Defense, McNabb

weaknesses: I think the Eagles offense will struggle. Their receivers suck (Pinkston) and they have not played in a few weeks.

Overall I like the Vikings on the moneyline because I feel like you are getting compensated for the chance that Moss and Culpepper may blow up and outscore the Eagles. Favre almost pulled it out last year and I feel like the Vikings can do it this year.

Sports Gambling Cooler

Doug Brian helped add to my long legacy of horrendous sports gambling. I had the Jets money line +350 for a 15$ bet. It looked good until Brian could not kick the ball through the uprights. Not once, but twice. Amazing.

So then I tried to cover up the bet when the Jets were winning on Tradesports.com and I accidentally sold two contracts on the over at 4$. It was pretty obvious the over was going to hit so it was an instant loss of 4$. I finally bought two contracts on Pittsburg to win at like $4.50. At least that was a good move. So I won $11 on Pittsburg, -4$ on the under, -15 on the Jets for a total of -8$. Not bad, but brutal on the Brian misses.

Then I opt to bet the money line on the Rams at $20/50. I cannot believe that I risked any money on a Mike Martz team. He is by far my least favorite person on Earth. Oh well, it looks like the Rams cannot tackle anyone. I have never been so frustrated with a team. I am never a fan of firing a coach after he takes a team to the playoffs and wins, but Martz is a clown. That guy should be moved to offensive coordinator. He is not a head coach.
